The Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry believes that dental health is the art of preventing and controlling oral diseases. Making oral health an important part of our wellbeing through community efforts is the main objective of The Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry. Dental health is most neglected unknowingly, though it is the most important part of human health. The Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry strives to spread the importance of oral health care by serving the community with awareness, and educates the public with the benefits of having better dental hygiene.

Guidelines for 2016

National Level Essay Competition

1. Only IV BDS Students are eligible for the contest in UG students category.
2. The Essay should not exceed 1000 words.
3. Typing the essay
a) Size - 14 font
b) Font - Times New Roman
c) Spacing - One and half line
d) Paper size - A4
4. Copies to be sent - 1. Soft copy by e-mail only (Mandatory)
5. Covering letter with Principal’s signature, confirming the identity has to be sent with the Essay by Email
6. Last date for submission - 15th of October.

Toppers in the subject of Public Health Dentistry for UG & PG students

1. The BDS topper should belong to regular batch (August-September), and only the first attempt shall be considered.
The MDS topper should belong to regular batch (March- May), and only the first attempt shall be considered.
He/She should have cleared all the subjects in the first attempt.

BEREAVEMENT BENEFIT


As a monetary benefit to the family of the diseased, the Association offers a lump sum amount of Rs.50,000/-.
