The Inauguration of IAPHD, Bihar State Chapter was held on 09-09-2016 at Patna. The chief guest for the occasion was honorable Dr. S. S. Hiremath, President of the IAPHD and Dr. Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Vice President, of the IAPHD.

Dr. Amit Kumar, Hon. Secretary of IAPHD Bihar State Chapter introduced the office bearers and presented the chronicle of events to be held during the Inaugural Ceremony. Dr.Bhumika Kamal Badiyani, President of IAPHD Bihar State Chapter, gave the welcome and inaugural speech. The event was formally inaugurated by lighting of lamp by the chief guest in the presence of Dr. Nitesh Kamal, Vice-President of IAPHD Bihar State Chapter. Sarjug Dental College & Hospital actively participated in the event.  Dr. Amit Kumar welcomed the gathering and all the dignitaries on the dais were honored with flower bouquet and memento.  Dr. S. S Hiremath gave a scintillating speech to the office bearers and students to utilize the association to develop their skills and to carry on effective community research projects. Dr. Vamsi Krishna Reddy enlightened the minds of the young hearts on the importance of Public Health Programmes. This was followed by vote of thanks by Dr.Bhumika Kamal Badiyani and the successful inaugural ceremony came to an end. It was a proud moment for all the members of Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry. We are extremely thankful to Dr. Sabyasachi Saha, Secretary, Dental Council of India and Hon. General Secretary, Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry and Dr. M.B. Aswath Narayanan, President Elect, Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry for their constant guidance and motivation for the opening of this chapter.

Office Bearers: 

An Offbeat Record was set on that day that of Dr. Bhumika Kamal Badiyani being the first lady to be elected as President at State and National platform of Indian Association of Public Heath Dentistry.
