2. Abstract text:

Kindly submit the abstract in the following format:
1. Authors have to submit their abstracts in English, which is the official language of the conference.
2. Abstracts will have to be submitted by online portal only.
3. Authors are requested to submit their abstract under the structured headings
4. Abstracts should contain no more than 250 words.
5. Authors will have to use Times New Roman font with size 12.
6. Abstracts will not be accepted after the stipulated deadline (25thOctober 2021)

3. Specific Guidelines:

1. The theme for the conference is “Redefining Dental Public Health Competencies in India”. The video for the Short Film/Role play/Street play/Flash Mob nay be theme/non-theme based.
2. Only single entry per college/ institute will be allowed. Participants can be either faculty or students and with or without non-teaching staff.
3. All members in the team must have registered for the conference to qualify as a team.
4. Each team should comprise of minimum 5 & Maximum 7 participants including Mentor.
5. Mentor can only be Faculty members.
6. All team members should be part of the video presentation.
7. Judgment will be made on the basis of content, skills of acting only and not editing of the video.
8. Voice over or audio narration will be allowed. However, teams can also use a relevant background music/theme and text in English.
9. Video must be recorded and converted to MP4 file format.
10. Length of the video should be minimum 8 minutes and maximum 10 minutes including opening and closing credits.
11. Opening credit should not disclose the institution name.Any attempt of breach will attract disqualification.
12. Closing credit should display the names of the cast and crew with team photograph.
13. Films must be the original work of the applicants. If a film is based upon another person’s life or upon a book or other underlying work, applicant(s) must secure any necessary rights to make such adaptations. By entering the competition, you represent that you have secured all necessary rights.
14. Applicants are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary rights and permissions for third-party materials included in their films, including but not limited to music, trademarks, logos, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights. Scientific Committee of 25th National Conference of Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry expressly disclaims all liability or responsibility for any violations of the foregoing.
15. Submission of an entry in this category will automatically give rights to the association & organising committee to upload the video on association/conference websites or social platforms, for appropriate use.
16. The abstract for the category must be uploaded on the website through any one registered participant only and the recorded video to be sent as an attachment to the iaphdsc25@gmail.com by 5th November 2021.
17. On the basis of number of entries, initial scrutiny by Scientific Committee and final evaluation by judges/chairpersons will be done.
18. External sources of funding, if any, should be included in the presentation.
19. The whole team will be given only one certificate of presentation for participation and certificate of appreciation for prize.
20. Decision of the judges will be final and no further request will be entertained.
