1. Scientific Presentations can be submitted under following categories
❖ Faculty and Final year PGs can submit abstracts for Scientific paper (Oral Presentation).
❖ Second year PG students can submit abstracts for Scientific Poster (Oral Presentation).
❖ First year PG students can submit abstracts for General Poster
2. All Scientific papers/Scientific posters/General posters can be either Theme based or non – theme based
3. Theme based Scientific papers/Scientific posters/General posters can be submitted under following focus areas
❖ Tobacco and oral health
❖ Indigenous methods of oral healthcare
❖ Oral health problems of specific population groups
❖ Oral Health Care-Ethics and jurisprudence
❖ Preventive dentistry with recent advances
❖ Interdisciplinary approaches in dental public health.
❖ Oral Health Care-Risk assessment and management/mitigation
❖ Social determinants of Oral health
❖ Nutrition in Oral Health / Dental public health
❖ Clinical and translational oral health research
4. Please note that a Scientific paper /Scientific poster/General poster not fitting into any of these focus areas may be submitted as Non – Theme-Based Scientific paper/Scientific poster/General poster.
5. The focus area should be reflected in either the title or objective of the abstract to enable scientific committee to decide on appropriateness of focus area under which the Paper/Scientific poster/General poster is submitted.
6. Only IAPHD members are eligible for Scientific paper /Scientific poster/General poster presentation. However, only one member can present a Scientific paper /Scientific poster/General poster but the submission can have a maximum of three authors.
7. Registration for the 25th IAPHD National Conference is mandatory for all the presenters and co-presenters.
8. All abstracts must be submitted online through the link available on the website on or before 25th October 2021.
9. One registered delegate will be allowed to submit only one Scientific paper /Scientific poster/General poster abstract for presentation.
10. The scientific committee will have the sole discretion to accept/decline the paper or change the category or convert paper to poster presentation.
11. All abstracts for Scientific paper /Scientific poster/General postershall be the exclusive property of the Scientific Committee, 25th IAPHD National Conference.
12. A confirmation email on the receipt of abstract will be sent to the presenting author.
13. A unique ID shall be allotted to each Scientific paper /Scientific poster/General posterat the time of acceptance of abstract and shall be communicated to the presenting author.
14. Decision about Acceptance / Rejection / Change of focus area/Category shall be communicated to the presenting author.
15. The organizing committee will not be responsible for the poor internet connectivity.
16. The presentation videos of Scientific papers and Scientific posters should be pre-recorded and sent to iaphdsc25@gmail.com/ shared in the google drive link.
17. The pre-recorded presentation videos of Scientific papers and Scientific posters should be uploaded in the respective google drive link on or before by 10th November 2021.
18. The videos will be played through our system and the presenter should be present during the scientific session as well as for Questions and Answer session.
19. The presenter(s) shall login 10 minutes before their designated time slots using a dedicated link that will be updated in the website.
20. Requirements for Video Recording of Scientific presentations:
❖ The video file should be in mp4 format
❖ Duration, maximum 08 mins.
❖ 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio is preferred.
❖ Please edit in the native format of the camera if you can. 4:3 is acceptable.
❖ Do not stretch the video.
❖ The maximum video size allowed is 500MB.
21. All the presenters (Paper and Poster) will receive certificates of Scientific Presentation.
22. Session wise winners will get certificates of appreciation

24. Link for downloading the certificates for presentation shall be mailed to the presenters after the completion of the Conference.
