Guidelines for Category 4 – Dental Public Health Table Clinic

1. Abstract title:

Short, precise and not more than 15 words.

2. Abstract text:

Kindly submit the abstract in the following format:
1. Authors have to submit their abstracts in English, which is the official language of the conference.
2. Abstracts will have to be submitted by online portal only.
3. Authors are requested to submit their abstract under the structured headings
4. Abstracts should contain no more than 250 words.
5. Authors will have to use Times New Roman font with size 12.
6. Abstracts will not be accepted after the stipulated deadline (25thOctober 2021)

3. Specific Guidelines:

1. The theme for the conference is “Redefining Dental Public Health Competencies in India”.
2. The video for the Dental Public HealthTable Clinic may be theme/non-theme based.
3. A table clinic is an informal table top presentation using oral communication and visual media to inform, clarify, and/or review material on a specific topic. A table clinic presents useful and timely information in an original, interesting manner. This information may be a technique; theory; service; trend; or expanded opportunity in dental public health. The table clinic should be simple and direct with an element of action to stimulate attention and interest.
4. Only single entry per college/ institute will be allowed. Participants can be either faculty or students and with or without non-teaching staff.
5. All members in the team must have registered for the conference to qualify as a team.
6. Each team should comprise of minimum 2 & Maximum 3participants including Mentor.
7. Mentor can only be Faculty members.
8. The video should explain & demonstrate the concept laid on the table clinic through narration and actual working.
9. Teams can use a relevant background text in English.
10. Video must be recorded and converted to MP4 file format.
11. Length of the video should be minimum 5 minutes and maximum 7 minutes including opening and closing credits.
12. Opening credit should not disclose the institution name.Any attempt of breach will attract disqualification.
13. Closing credit should display the names of the team with photograph.
14. The abstract for the Dental Public Health Table Clinicmust be uploaded on the website through any one registered participant only and the recorded video to be sent as an attachment to the iaphdsc25@gmail.com by 5th November 2021.
15. On the basis of number of entries, initial scrutiny by Scientific Committee and final evaluation by judges/chairpersons will be done.
16. External sources of funding, if any, should be included in the presentation.
17. The whole team will be given only one certificate of presentation for participation and certificate of appreciation for prize.
18. Decision of the judges will be final and no further request will be entertained.
